Client Profile: The historic Levoy Theatre in Millville, NJ. It was once a vibrant Vaudeville theatre, then a movie house, until closing permanently in 1974. A grassroots group of locals created a non-profit group to acquire, restore and reopen the theatre as a performing arts center.
Challenge: Change the hearts and minds of a skeptical public who thought that the organization's mission was a pipe dream—while operating on a shoestring budget. The Client wanted an all-inclusive campaign including educational materials, renderings, web, print and branding.
Solution: Established the brand showing the organization as a successful and serious project. The campaign encouraged people to envision the Levoy as "More Than You Imagine" with a tagline and photographic icons teasing what could be realized at the reopened theatre.
Result: This campaign allowed the Levoy Theatre Preservation Society to secure over $10M in restoration and operational funding from government, business and individuals, resulting in a complete restoration and successful reopening in 2012.
Scope of Work: All concepts, design, 3-D rendering, copywriting and photo manipulation.
